Robert Gaumond Obituary
early hours of December 1, 2023 under the care of Phillip Hulitar-Hope Hospice in Providence.
He was born on December 21, 1965 in Pawtucket to Richard Gaumond and Marie (St. Jacques)
Gaumond.
Robert was high energy as a kid and embraced the nickname his Dad bestowed upon him,
"Speed-O". He was an avid sports fan and baseball card collector. Mr. Gaumond was a gigantic
fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. Robert will be remembered as
a gentle person who stayed to himself and was a joy to be around.
Robert A. "Speed-O" Gaumond is survived his by beloved parents Marie (St. Jacques) Gaumond
and Richard Gaumond both of Florida. He leaves behind his brother Brian Gaumond and his
wife Nadia of Curacao. Mr. Gaumond was the uncle of Gianna Gaumond of Curacao.
Visitation Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from
6-8pm on Tuesday December 5th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central
Falls, RI 02863. A Memorial Prayer Service will follow at 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
Burial will be held privately.
