Robert Gill Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, son of Annie D. Gill of Woonsocket and the late Edward F. Gill.
Robert worked as a Driver for Interstate Towing. He enjoyed making occasional trips to Twin River, gambling, playing scratch tickets, fishing, driving, and loved playing Santa Claus for Christmas.
Besides his mother Annie, he is survived by his two children, Amy Gill of Woonsocket and Robert J. Gill Jr. of North Smithfield. Three brothers, Emile Gill, Edward L. Gill, and Francis M. "Frankie" Gill all of Woonsocket. Four sisters, Carol-Ann Dionne of N. Smithfield, Marie Gill of Woonsocket, René Marzini of Cumberland, and Margarette Cullerton of Woonsocket. Six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his extended family, David and Lorraine Turcotte of Burrillville, Christopher and Julie Turcotte of N. Smithfield and their children, Lily, Abagail, Cora, and Oliver whom he called his babies. He also leaves behind his companion, Paula Roy of Woonsocket.
A Funeral Home Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 4-7PM.
