Robert Howe Obituary
Bob was a firefighter for twenty years in the City of Pawtucket before retiring as a Lieutenant in 2007. He served as Chief of the Nasonville Fire District of Burrillville from 2014 until 2016 and was also the Emergency Management Director for North Providence. Most recently, he was a dispatcher for the Pawtucket and Central Falls Fire Departments.
Bob served as a Vice-president of the Pawtucket Fireman's Relief Association and was a member of the Pawtucket Public Safety Retiree's Association.
Besides his father, he leaves his former wife, Ann Marie (Wildenhain) Howe and their children, Kathryn V. Howe and Andrew R. Howe all of Pawtucket.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Fireman's Relief Association, 155 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated. TRIPPFUNERALHOME.com.

Dear Family: I knew Robbie as a childhood neighbor on Ferris Street. I have fond memories of playing whiffle ball in his driveway. He was Ted Simmons of the St. Louis Cardinals at bat. Through the years memories of his kind and gentle nature persist. So glad he achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter. I regret we lost contact when I moved away. I would have liked to have known the great man he became. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Ann Marie, I was very sorry to learn of the passing of Bob.I remember him and you so well from my days at St. Teresa School. There are some students that a teacher never forgets and Bob and you were part of that selective group.He stopped by my classroom one day as part of his inspection duties and we talked about the "good ol days".

Bob was such a special man and was loved by all who knew him.

Shocked and saddened to learn of Bob's passing, we worked together at RIH Emergency many years ago. Bob was always a great person to work with and always a gentlemen. All the nurses loved working with him, as well as the doctors and anyone else he came in to contact with during his time at the ED. RIP my friend, you lived life well!
