So sorry for your loss. I ran into him at Sears on Diamond Hill a few years ago and we had a fascinating conversation about WW2 while I was browsing in the shoe department. Mr. Levitre always said my Mom resembles a relative named Ruth. He was very entertaining to sit near when at St.Paul's for mass. Thank you for defending our freedom. God bless.

Tommy an family. Warmest regards from your old friend of younger days. We built jigs in your Dad's garage using his tools and nails and nuts and bolts. He was generous to us. Then a hard day driving jigs down Ballou's Hill would be topped off with carrot cake and cream cheese frosting made by your Mom. Your Dad and Mom were such nice folks. I trust they are enjoying each other's company this very moment.
Much love from Steve and Joan Barnatt

Robert and Theresa,
My thoughts and prayers are with you with the passing of such a great man who lived a full life and will be remembered as a great man. I had the pleasure of being his barber for many years in Blackstone and I remember all our conversations as every one was an experience. Especially the time he returned to the beaches of Normandy 50 years after the end of the war. I felt like I was with him when he told me the story. What an amazing man!

Bob and his wife Theresa were such a warm, loving couple, outgoing and friendly. He was a true patriot and his being of service in World War II meant much to him.

No man was more proud of his family than Uncle Robert. His face lit up whenever he spoke of them. He will always be loved and missed by us, but now is his time to see his sweetie again.

May he rest in peace and enjoy his time with Theresa again. God bless him! I always enjoyed his stories every time I went to visit him. He would say after he completed his sentence, what do you think of that. He lived a long life and left a lasting impression and mark on the whole Levitre family and others he encountered.

Robert Levitre was one of the kindest people I ever knew. My family lived in his house on Canal Street for almost 40 years. He was always willing to help you if you asked. He was very proud of his service to this country and always willing to talk about it. My sincere sympathy to all his family. He is now with his beautiful wife and I'm sure at peace. God bless. Love to all, Family of Joe Crochiere.
