Robert Picard Obituary
(Gaulin) Maculan - Picard. He was also the husband of the late Katherine (Dziwenka) Picard and Alice (Monteiro) Picard. Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Patrick and Anna (Russell) Picard.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Elks Club BPO 850 and the VFW Post in Forestdale. He worked as a maintenance man for the former Jacob Finkelsteins for 40 years.
Besides his wife Alice, he is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Dalpe of Woonsocket. One step-daughter, Reneé Eddie of Burrillville, RI. Two sisters, Therese Mayer of Cumberland, RI, Gertrude Bilodeau of Woonsocket, RI, Four grandchildren, David Dalpe, Donna Dalpe, Kimberly Katz, and Stephen Eddie. Six great-grandchildren. He also was the brother of the late Henry, Raymond, Gerald, and James Picard.
His funeral will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 9 AM from the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI . Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donation to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914, would be appreciated.

Renee, I am so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a good man and a wonderful neighbor. I've missed him often since he moved away. My thoughts and prayers to you and all his family. Rest well, Bob.
