Robert Smith Obituary
He was a truck driver for 25 years and worked for the Petro Oil Co. He was an army veteran, a member of Teamster Local #251, a tow truck driver and also worked at Valley Auto Parts. He lived in Burrillville most of his life before moving to West Warwick and then Dayville, CT in 2009.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he was the father of Robert D. Smith, Jr., Christopher M. Smith and Diane M. Maston. He was the brother of Nancy Beauvais, Joan Stockwell and the late William A. Steere, Jr. and Wayne A. Steere. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Saturday January 28, 2017 at 10am, in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Glocester. Visitation Friday 5-8pm.

My sincere condolences on Bobs or as we as children nicked named him Boa. He was one of all my three older brothers friends and thought he had the nicest home across the street from ours. Always beautiful flowers and roses. He was always so fun and kind, we were just a handful of kids in Mapleville girls vs boys. Most of the time we were in my dad's old cars playing cobs and robbers.Peace to you the family. If it helps we played well as children.Rest In Peace Boa.
