Robert Taylor Obituary
Bob was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Krew, Inc., Attleboro for thirty-five years until retiring in 1995. Bob was a member and Past-Commander of American Legion Post 312, South Attleboro and Bristol County District 9; member of 40/8; former member of Elks Lodge 1014, Attleboro and was a former coach for the Darlington National Little League in the 1970's.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, David M. Taylor and his wife, Cynthia and a daughter, Karleen M. Valentine and her husband, Steven all of Pawtucket. He also leaves three grandchildren, David, Stephanie and Steven; a great-grandson, Zachary; a brother, Kenneth E. Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Dear family of Bob. My deepest sympathy for your loss of a good man. I have only known Bob as a member of Post #312 the past 3 years but was very easy to be included by him as a member. He will be missed by all.
