Robert F. Trainor

PAWTUCKET - Trainor, Robert F., 79, of Pawtucket died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rita I (Pilon) Trainor. Born in Providence, a son of the late John J. and Helen A. (Whalen) Trainor, he had been a Pawtucket resident for 45 years. Mr. Trainor was a district sales manager at Steego Auto Parts for 20 years before his retirement and also worked as a pari-mutuel clerk at Twin River. He served in The United States Navy. Mr. Trainor was a member of the Ireland 32 Society and enjoyed Cribbage.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert F. Trainor, Jr. (Debra Chartier) of Cranston; a daughter, Anne J. Pagliaroni (Anthony) of Swansea; He was the adoring grandfather of Noah, Evan and Wyatt; he was the brother of John J. Trainor, Jr., of Warwick, Eileen A. Gilmore of Milford, MI and Helen M. Vezina of Warwick.
His funeral will be Thursday at 8:15 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pope John Paul II Parish, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket at 10 AM. Calling Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM.
