Ronald Jarry Obituary

WOONSOCKET - Ronald R. Jarry, 76, of Woonsocket, passed away at his residence on February 24, 2018. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son to the late Roger and Imelda (Boutin) Jarry.
Ronald was a member at the Woonsocket Elks, the Cercle Laurier and the Italian Working Men's Club. He enjoyed golfing with his many friends from the IWC. He was a star pitcher for the baseball team at Mount St. Charles where he was well known for his amazing Drop Ball technique. However, what Ronald was mostly recognized for was his management position at Cape Cod Ice Cream on Diamond Hill Road.
Ronald is survived by his sons Ronald Jarry Jr. and his wife Paula, of Pascoag, David Jarry and his wife Beverly of North Smithfield; grandchildren Michael Jarry, Thomas Jarry Jr., Jayde Jarry, Aaron Jarry and Lacey Jarry; sisters Diane LeBrun of Pt. St. Lucie, FL and Janet Mucciarone of Franklin, Ma. He was also survived by his former wife and close friend, Dorothy Jarry of North Smithfield. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Thomas Jarry and his brother Roger Jarry Jr.
His funeral will be held Thursday, at 9 AM, from the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-7 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ronald's honor be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148

Ronald Jarry Sr was a great father he made sure his family was well taken care of and we had a lot of fun with spontaneous trips good conversation and he gave good advice I will miss him I love you dad.
