Ruben Simas Obituary
Ruben participated in many services and activities with his friends and caregivers in the Cerebral Palsy and Special Needs communities. He enjoyed watching TV programs and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and dear friends. Ruben will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, with a warm smile and all around happy disposition, even while battling his physical disabilities. Besides his beloved parents, Ruben also leaves his loving sister, Claudia S. Simas and her loving companion, Anthony Williams, of Rehoboth; his beloved Godmother, Grace Pereira; a cousin, Joao Victor Pontes and many more beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. His funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, One Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Interment will be private.
VISITATION will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. For online condolences TRIPPFUNERALHOME.com.

so sorry for your loss...i grew a bond with Ruben while he was a patient in Hasbro...i was his Cna from time to time ..i used to love to make him laugh and smile....you were so loved...how your family was always by his side .... and with all your pillows ..how your mom always seemed to make you so much more comfortable than any of us could...god bless you and your family...no more pain for you ..your in heaven running atoumd waiting for your family to one day be together

Maria, Duarte and Claudia I'm so sorry for your loss! Ruben was a wonderful boy who was so loved by everyone who met him. I still remember his smiles and laughs when ever you spoke to him. He will be sadly missed by everyone. God bless ❤❤
