Ruth Bowers Obituary
Ruth worked as a certified nursing assistant for 15 years. She was also a cat lover who cared for many cats in the neighborhood.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Dimaio of Johnston and Mary Zoltowski of Saratoga Springs, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda and Stephanie Dimaio and Britney Zoltowski; three great-grandchildren, Atlas, Mason and Caelyx and sister, Betty Chaffer of Logan, Ohio. Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters, Janice Flinton and Charlotte Rodrick.
A memorial dinner will be held at Chelo's Restaurant, 490 Clinton St., Woonsocket on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 3-7 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. holtfuneralhome.com

I love you Grandma. Its been almost 3 weeks but it feels like forever. I still can't believe you're gone. It doesn't seem real. You were taken so fast and so unexpectedly that I had no time to say goodbye. I hope you know how much I love you and how important you were to me. We had a bond that no one could understand. I wish the last time I missed you on your cheek, I wish I would have known that that was the last time I would see you. I miss you so much that my whole body hurts. My on My comfort is that you went fast and I heard you were laughing while doing so. You always smiled gram. Throughout your rough life you always smiled. I'm going to try to be strong and always smile like you. I can't wait to see you again gram, up in heaven, where we can sit and you can tell me all about heaven. But until then I will miss you everyday. I love you gram. From your first and favorite granddaughter xoxox Amanda
