Sandra Lemoine Obituary
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Doris P. Coutu. She was a resident of Woonsocket all of her life. Sandra attended St. Clare Girls High School and Community College of Rhode Island.
Her passing leaves a hole in her extended family as she served as matriarch for the past two decades. Her legacy is instilling in her daughter the knowledge that she was strong enough to take on the world and would always have a home when that world got too dark.
Affectionately known as "San", she was employed as a seamstress at several area mills including Sadwins. She also worked as a telemarketing manager for Kirby.
Sandra looked forward to a fun night of bingo whenever the opportunity presented itself. Along with her husband Charlie, San was always "fair game" for a trip to area casinos to try her luck and tempt fate.
Sandra's best times were spent with those whom she loved with all her might. They will forever hold a place in her heart.
In addition to her husband Charlie, San is survived by her daughter Sandra Jeanne Lefebvre of Woonsocket and her late husband Troy Lefebvre who passed away in 2003. She was the sister of Jodie Coutu Molloy, Diane Borges and her husband Tony Borges and the late Jay Coutu and his wife Tina Coutu. San is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Sandra's funeral will be Saturday October 2, 2021 at 9:00 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Agatha's Church, Joffre St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday October 1st from 4:30-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
