Stanley Blogref Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (Buturla) Blogref.
Before retiring, Stanley owned and operated Stan's Appliance Sales and Service of Cumberland for fifty five years. Prior to that he was employed by the former Corning Glass Works of Central Falls (Osram Sylvania). Stan was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Fierlit-Korzen A.L. Post #79 of Central Falls. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus of Cumberland and enjoyed Ballroom Dancing.
Mr. Blogref is survived by his loving family, three daughters Katherine Angus and her husband Jan of North Dighton, Joyce Blogref of Dighton and Ludavine "Lou" Henry and her husband Michael of Cumberland, one son Charles Blogref of Pawtucket, four grandchildren, Jenn, Heather, Bruce and Mike, two great grandchildren Ethan and Max, nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday March 2, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.

I remember the photo taken by the newspaper of the Maytag man sign and Joyce's dad standing in the window of his shop marveling at the resemblance. All the visits when hanging out with Joyce all those years ago. Stan was the nicest guy. So sad for the family, the fond memories are priceless. Thinking of you all today.
