Sylvia Smith

LINCOLN - Sylvia (Hanczaryk) Smith, 89, of Lincoln and formerly of Cumberland and Naples, FL died May 16, 2017 at her home, Atria Lincoln Place. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Smith.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Luka and Anna (Savula) Hanczaryk.
Mrs. Smith worked twenty-five years for Sears, retiring in 1988 as a Customer Service Manager. She was previously employed by the former US Rubber Co., Woonsocket.
She is survived by her son, Brian Smith and his wife Michele of Cumberland; grandchildren, Katharine Smith, Elizabeth Hannon, and Andrew Smith; two great granddaughters, Lyla and Lacey Hannon; her daughter- in-law, Melanie and her niece, Jean Kay. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Smith and sister, Rose Dziubaniuk.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 beginning with visitation at 9 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a funeral at 11 AM in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 120 Nate Whipple Hwy, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Church Altar Guild.
