Tammy Galleshaw Forgue Obituary
Tammy was born May 1, 1963, in Providence, R.I., daughter of Joyce L. Galleshaw and the late Frank T. Galleshaw Jr. Tammy grew up in Burrillville and graduated from Burrillville High School in 1981. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. Tammy was co-owner, with her brother Frank, of the family business, Wright's Farm Restaurant in Harrisville, R.I., where she co-managed the gift shop with her sister-in-law, Susan Galleshaw.
Tammy married her childhood sweetheart, Jeffrey Forgue in 1987. For 26 years, the Forgue family resided in Lincoln, where Tammy was actively involved in many activities. As a young women, Tammy was an accomplished equestrian at Acres Wild Farm. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Bonnet Shores, skiing and traveling.
Besides her husband and mother, Tammy is survived by three devoted sons, Jeffrey Joseph Forgue Jr., Nicholas Lee Forgue and Gregory Francis Forgue; and loving brother, Frank T. Galleshaw III and his wife Susan Galleshaw, and several nieces and nephews. Tammy was a vibrant individual who had countless friends and touched many people's lives. She will forever live in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner Street, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Tammy Forgue to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Patient Assistance Fund), P.O. Just remember Tammy today, she was a family friend and I babysat for her when Jeff and Nick were little.
Tammy was a vibe. She had a contagious laugh, beautiful smile, and just an overall great personality. She was someone you wanted to be around. My times with her and her family left a lasting impression on me that I will never forget. Saying a silent prayer for her and her family today.

I'm so sadden by this news. My heart goes to you Jeff, Jeffjr. Nick and Greg. Gabby and FrankieAnd all other family and friends. Tammy was such a beautiful Wife, Mom,Friend and Spirit. Frankie, Jeff, Joyce and family.......I offer my heartfelt sympathy. I am not going to tell you what a wonderful person she was because you already know that . ........but I will tell you that when we lose someone that was very close to us there is a void that no other can fill and yet God gives us the strength to carry on. My sincere condolences and sympathy to your family. Summer after summer I would see you guys in Bonnet Shores and our families always ended up in houses across the street from each other. Tammy and I would laugh because year after year we would pull in and see each other. Tammy was always a smiling face on the beach loving life and her family. I will miss her and I will her laugh and beautiful smile! Bonnet Shores will not be the same without her!

So sorry to the Galleshaw and Forgue Family. I worked for Tammy (and Susan) for quite a few years. Phenomenal women leaders who years later, I've always looked up to. Tammy will be beyond missed. My husband Kevin and son Seamus join me in extending our deepest condolences to Tammy's family. Our fondest memories are of the Northern Lincoln Jump Rope dream team, of which Nick and Seamus were part of. Competed nationally in Disneyworld and brought back some trophies that year. Nick, I'm sure, still holds the record for speed. How proud Tammy was!
