I worked for Ted at Almacs in Foxboro for many years. He was the best manager that Almacs employed and his Foxboro store was one of the best run of all their stores. I had the utmost respect for Ted. I had been trying to find him for years to tell him how much respect I had for him but I couldn't find him.
Rest in peace Ted.

Ted gave me my first supermarket job back in 1968. Ted was a very kind, and sincere person, and was very patient with us new market workers. I still think of Ted from time to time, and what an honor it was to work with him. I only have pleasant memories of him, and I hope that he has found his eternal peace.

To the Gula family,
Sorry for your loss. When I was in high school I worked at the Almacs store on Mendon Road in Lonsdale. Ted was my manger and was a great boss and treated me very well. I had two part-time jobs back then working for my dad in his restaurant in Central Falls and working with Ted at the market!

I worked for Ted at Almacs for a short period of time yet I was struck by his kindness, knowledge and sense of humor. I wish you all well and am truly grateful that we had crossed paths.

I worked with Ted at Phreds Drug for almost 20 years... From a kid at age 16 until I became a Manager and worked side by side with him. He taught me so much, he was as a solid man, and I will miss him. Thank you Ted and rest in peace. Condolences to his family and friends.

Hi - Ted was a 1959 Tolman High School classmate of mine. He was a great friend - was in all of my homerooms. Always enjoyed his company. He came to my after senior party and clowned it up with the other classmates. Have a great picture of him doing just that. So very sorry for your loss. You children have had a rough time and I am sure that Ted is looking down and thinking he and his wife did a really great job. God bless all of you.

He was our neighbor for years on clews street, he was a very kind man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a very loving and careing father and always had a smile on his face. To his family our hearts go out to them for this terrible loss of a father and husband and friend. May the Good Lord replace your pain one day with just fond memories that only bring a smile to your face and not a tear to your eye.
