Violette Sutherland Obituary
She is survived by four daughters: Louise Sutherland of Madison, WI; Denise Sutherland Richardson of Easton, MA; Camille Hernandez and her husband David of Dade City, FL; and Gisele Sutherland and her husband Brett Thompson of Madison, WI.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Andrew, Katherine, and Jonathan Richardson; Alejandra, Peter, Nikolaos, and Michelle Hernandez; Emily and Meredith Thompson.
She is also survived by her sister Sr. Pauline Sauvageau of Berlin, NH.
Violette was the mother of the late Michele A., Michele M., and Peter O. Sutherland. She was also the sister to the late George Sauvageau, Therese Biron, and Celine Rochefort.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11AM in St. Antoine Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. www.holtfuneralhome.com

Dearest Louise, Denise, Cami, and Gigi,
It is with heavy heart that I wish to send along the Gaudreau family's condolences on the passing of your Mom. Please, know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. Personally, I remember the warm summer days at Spring Lake and the green station wagon we all use to pile into for the trip from Annette Ave. But what rings in my memories ear is the sound of your Mom's laughter, It was an infectious invite to join her in a moment lightheartedness.
