William Bressan Obituary

WOONSOCKET - William Bressan, Jr., born on July 10, 1938, to William and Bruna Bressan, passed away on May 16, 2018 after a short period of declining health. He is survived by his 10 children, Cheryl Dalpe, Sandra Allard, Karen Langlois, Kimberly Dubeau, Angela Victor, William Bressan, Albert Bressan, Alan Bressan, Glen Bressan and Wayne Bressan as well as his sister Elaine Richer and her husband Ron. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Matthew Schwazenberg and his wife Linda and his sister-in-law Beverly Lessieur and her husband Arthur as well as 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including Lynne and John Bressan with whom he grew very close to while living in California.
Bill was born in Woonsocket, RI and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He took great pride in his work as a carpenter. He later worked at Waters Corporation for 22 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed camping and RVing, fishing, and wood burning. The cross-country trip he took with his brother Tom and best friend Russ Remillard made for many great memories.
To honor his wishes there will be no services for a memorial. In lieu of flowers/cards please make a donation to Horses for Healing (http://horsesforhealing.org/), or American Lung Association.
