William H. Moore

BURRILLVILLE - William H. Moore, 70, of Harrisville, R.I., passed away on Aug. 31, 2017, at the Friendly Nursing Home.

He was the husband of 48 years to Rosemary (Comtois) Moore. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late William H. & Geraldine (Chadwick-Guay) Moore.

He worked for UMass Medical Center for many years and he also owned and operated Chelsea's Place and worked for Foxwoods and the Sunoco gas station in Harrisville. He enjoyed gardening and bowling, but most of all spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Geraldine Reilly and her husband, Michael, of Glendale; William Moore and his wife, Kristen, of Pascoag; and John Moore of Harrisville; grandchildren, Chelsea Reilly, Shalyn Reilly and her companion Paul Weyde, Cole, Cloe, Mason and Camden Moore, siblings, Willis Moore, Donna Charbonneau and David Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Sandra Sergel, Patricia Jolly, Ruth Horanzy, Virginia Devish, Roberta Belhumeur and Richard Moore.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Oxford, Mass. will be held privately.
