William Pacelt Obituary
Bill was the son of the late Paul and Lydia (Hirsch) Pacelt and brother to the late Arnold Pacelt.
Bill was a WWII veteran Tech Sergeant serving four years in the Army Air Corps. After returning, he worked for 41 years as a signal maintainer/trouble shooter for the NYNHH/Amtrak Railroad. Upon retirement Bill and Ellen wintered in Bonita Springs, FL.
Bill was a brother Mason at Jenks Lodge #24, F. & A.M., Pawtucket and Scottish Rite, Valley of Providence; as well as an avid camper with the Masonic NCT. He also served as President of the German-American Cultural Society and the Central Falls Masonic Home. Bill was an active participant in Park Place Congregational Church in Pawtucket.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Charlene P. Dundie, Daryl P. Prendergast and her husband Thomas, Lynn P. Usher and her husband Aaron; five granddaughters, Taylor and her husband Thomas, Skyler, Kaitlyn, Cali and her husband Joshua, and Alexandra; and one great-grandson, Jack.
Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery after a private ceremony. Memorial donations can be sent to Park Place Congregational Church, 71 Park Place, Pawtucket, RI, 02860 or Hope Hospice and Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904. Our deepest condolences to the family on your loss. Liz and I are so very sorry. Forced to say goodby brings up many emotions and memories. Though he sees death daily our loving Father is not insensitive. Feeling our pain he provides strength and comfort, and assures that the dead will live again in a new world where death pain and sorrow will be no more.....
.......... and so we wait patiently on our great God to reunite us with our loved ones that we are missing so much........
