Kenneth Anderson Obituary

Kenneth "Milkman" Anderson Ken died on April 9, 2025. He was born at home in Belleville, WI on March 1, 1953. He graduated from Belleville in the class of 1972. After graduating he purchased a Dairy route in Brodhead. He delivered dairy products to homes, schools, bars and restaurants in Brodhead, Monroe, Albany, Footville, Orfordville and Hanover. That is how he earned the nickname "Milkman". He married Diane Ringler on June 28,1991. He was a proud member of the Brodhead Lions Club and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award. Ken was a past member of the JC's, past president of the Chamber of Commerce, volunteer Fireman, and was on the Board of Directors of the Sugar River Trail when it first started. Ken loved to talk about his time in the Revolutionary Band in high school and several years after. Ken is survived by his wife Diane, stepson Jim Ringler, sisters Arlene Marty, and Marilyn Lokken (Paul), and sister in law Elaine Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents Mabel and Ole Anderson, brothers Darrell and Dale, sisters Doris Gallagher, Sonya Mezera, Ellen Anderson, Cheryl Burkhalter, sisters in law, Shirley and Joann, brothers in law, John Marty, Dave Miller, Bill Gallagher, Nephews Steve Gallagher, and Troy Burkhalter. A celebration of Life will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM with service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Diane Anderson which will be donated later to the Brodhead Lions Club and Fire Department.

I remember go on the milk route with Ken. He was a very friendly and social guy. My deepest condolences to his family.

Kenny was an inspiration for me to play bass guitar. The Revolutionary Band was very popular so whatever equipment Kenny had I to get too that´s just how much I looked up to him. Besides being a musician Kenny was a great guy with a huge heart. Thanks for the inspiration Kenny rest in peace. Dale Freidig

I'll miss my uncle Kenny! I drove him buggy whistling "put another Nicole in, in the Nickelodeon" and he would always say "Donnie that's not how that goes" and laugh as I helped him several times on his route...He is missed already.. Thanks kenny.
