Laurie Donohoo Obituary

Laurie J. Donohoo, 79, of Loves Park, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 9, 2025. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and lived in Trinidad, CO for many years. She spent her working years in real estate property management. Laurie loved playing card games and visiting with friends and family. She had a wonderful knack for finding humor in everything, even in the most challenging of times. She was a proud volunteer at Hope Reaching Out Inc. 3371 Applewood Lane Rockford 61114. She had a huge heart and took great joy in serving the local community. Survivors include her children, Jackie Reszetar, Tammie (Josh) Christensen and Doug (Kim) Hanna; grandchildren, Chase Durant and Peyton and Tyler Hanna; sister, Beverly Enright; and nephew, Steven Enright. Predeceased by her parents, John and Gertrude Pollack and a sister, Adrienne Pollack. Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, with a memorial visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Laurie J.
