Lynette Wilson Obituary

Lynette Ann Wilson, of Nashville, TN departed this earthly life July 8, 2025. She was born July 6, 1961 in Rockford the daughter of Gloria Wilson and James Spence Jr. Lynette lived in Nashville 7 years after moving from Rockford. She married Floyd Prunty Jr. Lynette was a Certified Nurses Assist, working for Home Health Agencies. She was a former member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church and a member of Faith Walkers Assembly. Lynette attended Guilford High School later to graduate from OIC. Lynette leaves to cherish many loving memories two daughters, Lashaunda Wilson and Ashley Warnick; son, Shawn (Amber Woods) Wilson; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Kimberly (Tony Horton) Wilson; brothers Dana Wilson, Kenneth Spence, Jason Spence and James Spence III; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; maternal grandmother, Nicey Wilson; paternal grandparents Commadore and Albert Dawson; sisters, Tracy Wilson and Hope Spence; brothers Roderick Spence, Terry Spence and Jonathan Spence. Services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, July 25, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
