ROCKFORD - Marilyn Dalberg, age 79, of Rockford, IL left this world peacefully surrounded by her family at OSF Hospital in Rockford on Sunday May 18, 2025. Born in Amboy, IL on November 29, 1945 to Charles & Mary Tuttle (Girton). A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. Known for her unwavering kindness and love, Marilyn loved spending time with her family, her grand and great grandkids brought her endless joy. She loved gardening, crafting, crocheting, listening to music and playing card and board games. Her home was always a place of gathering where every visitor was welcomed with open arms. We love you and miss you, always and forever in our hearts! Marilyn is survived by her children, Aletta (Andy) Elder, Kim Priddy and Shelby Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Markus, Tiara, Jessihia, Dustin, Briana and Tyler; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, David (Sally) Tuttle; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Bill Dalberg; granddaughter, Stephanie; and her parents and grandparents. Funeral Services held Friday May 23, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm.
