Obdiah McClelland Obituary

Obdiah "OB" McClelland, 85, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona. Born on May 4, 1940, in Lillie Louisiana, OB was well-known for his impeccable style --always dressed to impress, and never without a matching hat for every outfit. In 1963, OB married Estella Little, beginning a life filled with family, hard work and lasting memories. For over 30 years, he worked as a dedicated machine operator at Rockford Powertrain. OB was an ordained minister at the House of God Church for 20 years. He enjoyed preaching the word of God, singing and playing his tambourine. OB leaves to cherish his memories sisters Helen (Robert) Jones, Lavon (Jeff) Primm, Marzetta Jackson, Maggie (Charles) Jackson, Linda (George) Dent, Jerri McClelland, Shirley (Marchel) Baker, Kathy Johnson, brother Kenneth (Jackie) McClelland, granddaughter Latika (Tony Jr) Gerrins, great-grandsons, Samuel Little and Antonio Deere, Jr, great granddaughter Londyn Watts, one brother. God daughter Sheron (Martin) Geeters and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was predeceased by his parents, Jesse McClelland and Maggie McClelland, his sister Ietha Meeks, son Bruce E. Barmore, God daughter Michelle R McClelland.
