Rhonda Hanvy Obituary

Rhonda Sue (Lippold) Hanvy, 67, of Rockford, passed away peacefully after a short illness with family by her side on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1958 in Belvidere, IL to Frederick Lippold and Rosemary Fassett. She had 12 years of education at Guilford High School. She loved working in the garden at Heritage Woods. She never wanted to miss a John Wayne western and she was always willing to help others. She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Fassett; children, Dayna (Bryan) Greeson, Cody Hanvy and Dilen Hanvy; grandchildren, Jacob and Ayden Greeson; sisters, Linda (Daryl) Anderson, Lisa Dickson and Tammy (Edgar) Martinez; nieces, Hannah Mink, Callie Mink, Makayla Eurek and Abigail Eurek; and nephew, Nicholas Mink. She is predeceased by her step-son, Kenneth Hanvy; and nephews, Larry Finnan and Olin Mink. A special thanks to the ICU staff at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Anyone who new Rhonda is truly saddened by he passing. Rhonda suffered terribly over her last time
on earth. She is now at peace, God bless her and her grieving family.......
