Arlene Staggs Obituary

Arlene Sue Staggs, 75, of Mooresville and formerly of Grange Corner, passed away October 23, 2025, at Worthington Place in Camby, Indiana. Born November 7, 1949, in Clinton, she was the daughter of Raymond Kesner and Vera Bowman Kesner. She was married to William Don "Billy" Staggs for 29 years. He preceded her in death August 22, 2012. Arlene was a 1967 graduate of Turkey Run High School and attended Indiana Business College. She was a member of Wolf Creek Church, Marshall Baptist Church, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), and was a past president of the Postmasters League. She retired as Postmaster of the post office in Marshall, Indiana. Arlene loved to read and travel, especially to Hawaii. Arlene is survived by her nephew, Daniel Miller; 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elaine Kesner Miller. Cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville, Indiana.
