Michael Mesaeh Obituary

Michael E. Mesaeh, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday August 13, 2025. He was born in Westville, Illinois on October 25, 1932, to Alexander and Helen (Bann) Mesaeh. Mike is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois; son Michael Ray Mesaeh; brothers Dale and Patrick Mesaeh; granddaughters Shannon Krisine & Christina Marie; and son-in-law Doug Stevenson. Mike was a retired union truck driver and over the years had driven for Morris Trucking, Scheider Truck Lines and Lovelace Trucking, just to name a few. He was a member of Teamsters Local 144 out of Terre Haute which then merged with Teamsters Local 135 in Indianapolis. Those left behind to remember Mike are his children Mark Mesaeh (Donna), Kreta Stevenson, Daniel Mesaeh (Pam), William Mesaeh (Lori), Margaret Gamble (Scott), and James Mesaeh (Ann); 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will all miss him greatly. Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Saturday August 16, 2025, from 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m. Service will be at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Br. Elliott and Dr. Bill Mesaeh Jr. USAF Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow at Shirley Cemetery. There will be a dinner following the service at the Clinton F.O.E #887. Online condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
