Carl S. Solarek, Jr., 56, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in his home. He was the husband of Carol L. (Davidson) Solarek, with whom he celebrated 28 years of marriage. Born in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of Carl S. Solarek, Sr., of Leesport, and Joanne M. (Gajda) Solarek, of Pennside. Carl graduated from Exeter High School, class of 1987, Temple University with his Bachelor's Degree, and Alvernia University with his Master's Degree. He was a Senior Field Auditor for PA Compensation Rating Bureau. Carl was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. He was also the assistant pitching coach for Exeter High School Baseball for 25 years.
In addition to his wife and parents, Carl is survived by his children; Cory and Kyle Solarek, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 am at St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Schwarzwald Cemetery, Jacksonwald. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org.
