Jerry Michael Work, 71, of Hickory Flat, MS, transitioned on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Jerry Michael Work, 71, transitioned from this life Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his residence in Hickory Flat, MS. He was born September 5, 1953 to Lee Andy Work and Lena Faye Rhynes Work in Marshall County, Mississippi. Jerry was employed as a truck driver. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the unique hobby of snake hunting. He is survived by one son; Robert Mark Work of Saltillo, MS, brothers; Andy Work (Cora) and Kenneth Work (Gayle) both of Potts Camp, MS, one sister; Shirley Vance (Ray) of Potts Camp, MS, two grandchildren; Josh and Haley and three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Lee Andy Work and Lena Faye Rhynes Work. Viewing will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, 2:00 p.m., and Services at 3:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 88 Overton Road, Potts Camp, MS 38659. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Church of Marshall County, Potts Camp, MS. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of New Albany, MS.
