Vickie Faye Augustus Roberts, 74, of Booneville, MS, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. Born on May 19, 1951, in Washington Courthouse, OH, Vickie lived a joyful and generous life, full of energy and kindness. She loved biking, walking, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. A faithful healthcare administration worker, and after retirement a hospital volunteer worker. She gave freely of her time and heart, always putting others before herself. Vickie's selfless nature shone through in everything she did. She delighted in giving gifts, lifting others up with her radiant smile, and showing love in both big and small ways. She had a true fondness for cheeseburgers and vanilla cones, and she cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Zoey. She is survived by her husband, whom she married on March 31, 1974, Kenneth Irvin Roberts; Ali Steele (Josh) of Booneville, MS, Sam Roberts (Chris) of Mesa, AZ; and her baby girl doggy, Zoey; brother, Ron aka Pork Augustus of IN; sister, Dee Rinehart of OH; granddaughters, Camryn Roberts and Carstyn Roberts both of Mesa, AZ; and great-grandson, Niko Lee of Mesa, AZ. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Kermit L. Augustus and Anne Augustus; brothers, Denny Augustus and Butch Augustus; and sister, Diane Harris. A celebration of life will be announced later by her family. Booneville Funeral Home is trusted with arrangements. Vickie will be remembered as a woman with a giving heart, a love for life's simple joys, and an unwavering devotion to the people and pets she loved. Her legacy of warmth, generosity, and kindness will live on in all who knew her.
