Alice Whitlocks family lived across from mine when I was a young girl growing up in Hughes Creek W.Va. She married my children's Dads first cousin William Palmer I am so very sorry for your families loss ! I send my condolences

When Alice worked in Oak Hill office of miners health and safety I was there at there office that morning to test to become a certified Electrician and she could tell I was nervous scared actually anyway I will never forget her love and generosity and compassion she brought me a cup of coffee told me everything would be ok and it was but most of all Alice was also from the same little holler I was from and she will be missed loved my childhood loved my community and Alice was one of the reasons our community was such a wonderful place to live and be brought up in much love sent to all of you from the Wriston family

Alice was a special woman! She wasn´t just my best friends grandma, she made me feel like family as well. I will always miss her smile & chit chatting with her when we got to visit, and our shopping trips to corridor g every fall. One time Alice cleaned out her closet and probably gave me 20 pairs of shoes... and she still had a whole closet full after that lol! She was a regular of mine at elderbeerman and loved her coupons. She built an amazing life and raised an amazing daughter. I´m praying for all of her loved ones, her husband, her daughter, grand daughters, & great grandbabies. She is already missed so much!!
