Andy Lovejoy Obituary


ANDY RAY LOVEJOY SR. 61 of Montgomery Heights, formerly of Elkridge went home to be with Lord on January 27, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1962, to the late Ernest and Mary Lovejoy. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Lovejoy Taylor; granddaughter, Neriah Abigail Faith Lovejoy; grandson, Bentley Ray Cortez Lovejoy; grandparents, Algie and Macel Lovejoy and Eva Young; brother-in-law, Darrell (Skippy) Hudnall; sister-in-law, Jeanette Lovejoy.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, of 35-1/2 years, Jessica "Sissy" Lovejoy; 8 Children, Jessie (Danielle) Linville, Mary (Tiffany) Linville, Bobby (Heather) Proctor, Ernie (Jessica) Lovejoy, Andy "Drew" Lovejoy Jr., Eva Lovejoy, Vickie (Jack) Simms and Starletha Lovejoy; sister, Connie Hudnall; brothers, Jimmy Lovejoy, Jerry (Mae) Lovejoy and Roger Cotton. He also had 17 grandchildren that he loved, and they loved him to the moon and back. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Service will be at 1 p.m., on Friday, February 2, 2024, at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery with Rev. Greg Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.
