Carl Lawrence Obituary
MR. CARL HOMER "BUTCH" LAWRENCE, 77 of Eskdale died July 30, 2025 at home.
He retired from Walker Machinery in Belle after 44 years of service and was an excellent mechanic. He loved to work on automobiles in his spare time and was also a model train aficionado. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy at Hugheston.
He was preceded in death by parents: O'Dell and Erma Gilbert Lawrence, brother: Michael Lawrence and sister: Rose Lawrence.
Surviving are his wife: Leona Hill Lawrence of Eskdale, daughters: Heather (Clifton) Arden of Charleston, Carla (Troy) Rumberg of Charleston, son: Christopher Lawrence of Cabin Creek, brothers: Billy Lawrence and Ronald (June) Lawrence both of Eskdale, sister: Emma Mauk of Grayson, KY, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial will be 1 p.m. Monday August 4, 2025 at Montgomery Memorial Park, London with Rev. Seth Fleming and Rev. Brenda Gray officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
