Charles Baxter Obituary
Charles graduated from C.H.S (68) and U.C. with his degree in Nursing. Charles worked his way from orderly to CST at CAMC and then as a Surgical Nurse at CAMC and T.M.H.
Charles is survived by his wife, Kathy Cooper Baxter, and children, Shawn (Morgan) Baxter, Jennifer (Aaron) Cantley, and Cindy (Shane) Hudnall; six grandchildren, Aaron II and Jacob Cantley, Conner and Madilyn Hudnall, and Abigail and Avery Baxter; brothers Ralph (Patty) and Steve (Debbie) of Scott Depot; nephews Eric, Joe Baxter, and Shanna Baxter-Legg.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home, with Pastor Bart Hodel officiating. Burial will follow in the Baxter Family Cemetery, Elkview.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.

I worked with Charles at Thomas Memorial Hospital in the surgery department for several years. He will be missed by his friends and family. May God bless and comfort his loved ones.
