Charlotte Richardson Obituary

CHARLOTTE LOUISE (HARTLAND) RICHARDSON, 86, of New Bern NC passed away at home on July 8, 2025.
She was a teacher and principal at Weberwood Elementary School for over 30 year.. She also served as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church in Charleston.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Norman (Terry) Richardson and their sons Gregory (Gisele) of Phoenix, AZ and Steve (Christeanna) of Morehead City, NC. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Gardens in New Bern.

I worked for Charlotte at Weberwood for many years. She was an excellent principal and friend. She loved her family and looked forward to living near them where she could enjoy her grandchildren. My prayers go out to Terry and the family. May your many memories hold your love for her in your heart forever.

Charlotte was an awesome principal. She had such a kind heart! She was always willing to make sure each student had what they needed to succeed. Heaven has gained an angel. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her for many years. So very sorry Terry.

Charlotte was a dear friend. She was one of the best principal´s in Kanawha County. She was loved and respected by students, staff, parents and colleagues. She was also a dear friend. I will miss her laugh.
