Christopher Hardman Obituary
CHRISTOPHER DALE HARDMAN 65 of Chelyan went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 4, 2023, at home after a long illness. Chris was born on 9-16-1957 to the late Lawrence and Pearl Szerokman Hardman. He worked at Moses Cadillac over 30 years. He was a Graduate of Dupont High School, and a member of First Baptist church of Chelyan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence B. "Buck" Hardman, Gary Hardman and Danny Hardman. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Eva Reynolds Hardman. He leaves behind sons, Shawn (Heather) Hardman of Charleston, Brian (Ashley) Hardman of Mineral Wells, sisters Vicky (Ira) White of Conway of South Carolina, Janie (Ted) Kuhn of Hurricane and Tammy (Dan) Hardman-Dusch of Florida, grandchildren (3) Zoey, Tristan and Tristan and many nieces and nephews. He loved his kids and grandkids dearly and enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Chris had many friends he enjoyed. Per his wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held. Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove is serving the Hardman family.

My sincere condolences to Chris' family! I have fond memories of growing up with Chris and playing baseball with him, as well as going to school with him and his siblings. Such a nice guy to be around, always enjoyed his company. May God comfort those who are mourning the loss of Chris and may Chris rest in peace!

This is terribly heartbreaking. Chris and I were classmates from the very beginning. We both grew up at Quincy and have been lifelong friends. Chris was always a kind and caring person. We had recently spoken about our struggles with diabetes and some of the newest technology available. Chris always spoke so highly of his beautiful wife and children. I hadn´t seen him in years but he seem to have been a wonderful family man. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all his family. God bless.

Chris worked with my Dad at Moses Cadillac. I would see him at the Dunbar bowling alley from time to time. You will be missed.

Chris and I were close as cousins and fellow mechanics. I have a great deal of respect for him as both. I´m glad he and Eva got to travel during his later days. I´m sure he will be missed by many.

Chris was always a caring man, and often called to check on my folks (my father, Leroy, was his uncle; Lawrence´s brother) and visiting them when hospitalized. He was a great cousin to have.

I remember working with Chris when the dealership was, Rhodes - St Clair Buick. Chris was an excellent, knowledgeable mechanic and an even better person. RIP, Chris.
