We would like to say that time spent around Butch was always filled with laughter and a feeling of optimism. Butch saw life through a lens that made him a force of positive energy. He made people around him feel accepted because of his own unique way of expressing humility. For those closest to him, may the "big hole in your heart" that losing Butch has left you with be filled with happy memories that draw you to his Saviour and the new home he is now enjoying. If he could speak to us now, I believe he would say that there is nothing more important than making sure you have a real relationship with Christ.

I was just looking at a picture of Butch dressed as Santa & me as an elf from Christmas long ago. Bonnie, I’m so sorry to hear this. He was a truly amazing man. My thoughts & prayers are with you & the family.

Your quick wit and smile could always lighten up any room. Every time we would leave a family gathering your name would come up in the car of something funny you said or did; we would always laugh over it again on the way home. Thank you for the laughter Uncle Butch-Heaven is gonna love your sense of humor. Well done good and faithful servant-you served the Lord and your family well. ❤

Knew Butch from the WVARNG. A good and decent man. Never heard him say a disparaging thing about anyone. Blessings to the family and may he Rest In Peace. He is home now.
