When I first met Donna and Herbie, it was during a power outage on the 4th of July weekend about a dozen years ago. We sat out on their porch off and on throughout the weekend and talked about everything. We knew then that we would be good friends. Over the years, we would go shopping frequently for yard ornaments, flowers, and other outdoor things. As an actor, I had the pleasure of having her in my audience during perhaps the best performances of my career. She brought wonderful energy and enthusiasm to those events. When she weakened and was no longer able to leave her home to do those things, I visited her very often, and we would visit, watch TV, and laugh whilst we compared "battle scars." I will miss my friend. My wish for her family is that you will heal well and fast, and that your memories of Donna will be special and loving. Blessings.

Sending condolences to our nephews and their family´s. We have a fond memory of visiting Donna , popping popcorn in her back yard and watching fireworks displayed over the city of Charleston. Our young kiddos had a fun time. May she rest in peace

To you Marc and Brian, I send my deepest sympathy and love. I was your second grade teacher at Robins. Your mom was so caring about you both. It's hard to believe that she's gone. Loved her sense of humor and so many memories of her helping out at school. Love you both. Sending healing prayers.
