Kenneth Wilson Obituary

KENNETH LEE WILSON, 77, of Cross Lanes, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1947, in South Charleston, the beloved son of Clarence and Pauline Wilson.
He was a graduate of Duvall High School and West Virginia Institute of Technology and proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973. After his time in the military, he began his extensive career in hospital administration working at both Charleston Area Medical Center and Braxton County Memorial Hospital.
Ken was a volunteer on the Human Rights Committee to help improve the lives of people with disabilities in the Kanawha Valley, was a member of the Braxton County Rotary Club, and donated blood regularly through Red Cross blood drives. His hobbies included watching movies, working puzzles, antiquing, playing cards with friends, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He was also an avid WVU fan.
Ken is survived by the love of his life, Sandy, daughters Jennifer Logan, Kelly (Tod) Pritt, grandchildren Thomas Pritt, Josh Logan, Jonah Logan and Lauren Pritt, and nieces Melinda Ault and Teresa (Larry) Blankenship. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Barker. Ken will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his love and devotion to his family, his sense of humor, and his generosity and support to those around him.
Celebration of Ken's life will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Polk officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
