Megan Filiaggi Obituary

MEGAN ALICIA FILIAGGI, 39 of Mt. Carbon, joined her dad in heaven on September 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father Benny Filiaggi III. Those left to cherish her memories are her mother Stephanie, brother Michael (Logan) and her favorite niece Andie Marie. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She graduated from Valley High School in 2004 and continued her education at WV Tech. She was currently the deli manager at Grant's Grocery Store. She is a member of the St. Anthony's Shrine Catholic Church in Boomer. Megan had the most beautiful smile ever. She would always try to make others laugh by doing something silly. She was one of the most caring individuals you would ever want to meet. Her heart was as big as her body. Megan always saw the good in everyone she met. She wanted to save the world and everyone in it, including animals.
She was loved by so many people. We're so proud of Megan because of how much she cared for people, just as God wants us to.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at St. Anthony's Shrine Catholic Church in Boomer from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 6th in Boomer at 11 a.m., with Father Dominik Baok officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park in London.
