Philip Tignor Obituary

In Loving Memory of Our Father

With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved father, Philip David Tignor, who left us on June 26, at the age of 83.

Born June 1, 1942, he lived a life marked by integrity, hard work, and deep care for others. He was the kind of man who showed up - for his family, for his friends, for anyone who needed him. His playful sense of humor, with his little pranks and stories would brighten any room and his laughter would fill you with joy. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his garden and caring for the cats and dogs that needed an open heart and home.

He is survived by his children Scott of Oakland CA; Robin of Indianapolis, IN; brothers Charles of Sissonville; Jack of Cross Lanes and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and parents John Virgil and Lily.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

There are no words for how much he is missed. We love you, Dad. We always will.

Scott and Robin so sorry for your lost. May the Lord be with you at this time. I always liked Jean and Philip. Sorry I'm not able to be at the service. Love and prayers!
