Randolph Keesey Obituary


RANDOLPH AARON "RANDY" KEESEY of Powellton, WV died on Friday, November 29. 2024, at the age of 71.
After serving in the United States Marine Corps., Randy worked as a coal miner and retired from Cannelton Industries. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, Local 8843, District 17.
In addition to his parents, Edwin and Retha Keesey, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie and Ernie. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; stepsons Steven (Andrea) Smart and Michael (Lisa) Smart; grandchildren Joshua, Hannah, Zachary, Dustin and great-grandson, Spencer.
Randy was actively involved at the Powellton United Methodist Church where he especially enjoyed sharing his musical talents. He loved being outdoors.
Funeral Services for Randy will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, 1 p.m. at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, WV, with Pastor Jeff Floyd Officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
