Rebecca Ann Wright

REBECCA ANN (HUDSON) WRIGHT, 75, of Charleston, WV., passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at WVU Medicine Thomas Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rebecca was born in Charleston, WV on December 11, 1949 to the late, Charles M. Hudson and Edith Alice (Oliver) Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Engel Edwards and brother, Charles Hudson.
Rebecca attended Charleston High School, later attaining her GED on her own. She worked at Ames Department Store and WIC West Virginia but mostly cared for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Rebecca enjoyed traveling and being on the go, and she was an excellent cook. She will be sadly missed by her family.
Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband of 59 years, Paul G. Wright; children, Kellie (Wright) Keeling and Paul Gregory Wright and his wife Lisa of Charleston; forever son-in-law, Billy Keeling, Jr; grandchildren, Bridget Osburn, Gregory "Hunter" Wright and Ian Keeling; great-grandchild, Laken Barninger; brother, John Hudson; sister, Lucille Snyder and many special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston with Pastor Chuck Pennington officiating. Rebecca will be laid to rest in Graceland Memorial Park following the service.
Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
