Todd was my first field conductor in the WVU Marching Band my freshman year 1984. I have always remembered him over the years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing especially at an early age. He expected the best from us, and we did our best on the field at practice and at Mountaineer Field. He was fun, talented and loved to perform! He is missed.

So long dear Todd. I will forever miss how you pretended not to be a good friend. Thanks for being just that - not only thru college, but til the end.

It’s impossible for me to express, in just a few words, how dear Todd was to me and my family. My dearest condolences to your family. I was blessed to perform onstage at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg with Todd in Beauty and the Beast, along with my children. He was my wonderful Cogsworth. He was always a professional, but most importantly kind. Just the best. What a joy to be around! Heaven is a better place.

Todd was my very first band director. His love of music and performing arts was obvious to those he taught. I have nothing but wonderful memories of his teaching. He worked hard to impart his love of music to his students. I hope his family knows how much he has meant to so many students over the years and that he will be remembered with fondness. Prayer and condolences to his family.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Todd’s family. I am so saddened to hear that he has left this world. He definitely was a light to many and his presence will be sorely missed. I was able to become good friends with Todd when he worked at Holzer for the tobacco prevention initiatives. I always left Todd with a smile on my face & a bit happier. What a wonderful human! God bless each of you as you journey without him. I have many good memories to hold on to; I hope you can as well. Blessings, Tracey

Todd was the embodiment of that old saying, "He's a trouper," because he had the spirit of a performer. Whether he was leading the band or acting on stage or just laughing and joking around when we were kids growing up in Mason, his laugh was infectious. Ivonne and I send wishes for strength and comfort to Shirley, Terry, Tim, Troy, and all the other family and friends Todd touched in his lifetime.

So shocked and saddened to hear that Todd had passed. I remember watching him perform as field commander for the WVU Marching Band and what an incredible job he did! I also had the privilege to see him perform in a play of the Titanic in Parkersburg. He lived life to the fullest and loved having fun. Prayers to his family.

I worked with Todd many years ago at Holzer Medical Center. He was a kindhearted person who always cared about the welfare of others. I had not seen Todd for many years, until this summer when our paths crossed briefly a couple of times. He was the same friendly, outgoing person that I remember, and with the same outgoing smile that he always had. I am thankful that I was able to see and talk to him this summer. He will be sadly missed by many. My condolences to his mother and the rest of his family.

I had the pleasure to work with Todd at Holzer Medical Center on the Tobacco Prevention Program. Todd was a hard worker and really believed in what he was doing. His success made a difference in our communities overall healthcare. The program was not only recognized by the Ohio Department of Health but also was funded by the Tobacco Use Prevention Coalition. You could not know Todd without knowing of his love of music and acting. Todd had a joyous heart and never met a stranger. He was the type of person you enjoyed being around. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

I’m so sorry to hear about Todd. He was my field commander in the WVU Marching Band. He was always so nice. I remember laughing as the tuba section would chase him around the field for a pile on. “Todd Todd Tucker” will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of Todd’s death. We became friends as teaching colleagues, when he followed me as the band director at Hundred High School. He followed me a few years later as the band director at Magnolia High School.

A great musician and a fabulous person, he left his incredible mark on both of those band programs as his unlimited grace left it’s mark on all of us.

Todd was my band director briefly at Magnolia High School. He truly made band a fun experience and I was sad to see him go. I once watched him direct an entire band concert while passing a kidney stone because he didn't want to let us bandies down. Later, we reconnected and I found that he was still witty but more importantly, he was always kind. My prayers go out to his friends and family. ❤

My sincerest sympathy to the Tucker family. Todd was a wonderful friend at Wahama High. He was my lunch mate my last year there. I have so many memories of laughing with Todd on band trips and practices, goofing off in the parking lot and just enjoying his presence. He was a great leader of our WHS band family. Please know that Todd left lasting memories to people he touched. Wishing peace and happy memories to you.

Todd was loved and will truly be missed. Todd, thank you for being my friend.
