William Harris Obituary
He was born April 1, 1952 to the late Elizabeth and William Harris Sr. in South Charleston, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his step-son, Brian Whiteside, and sister, Linda Harris.
He had a kind, generous thoughtful soul and loved his family, especially the grandchildren. He also loved to garden, cook, and was very creative in the kitchen.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Terry; step-children: Joshua Martin of Charleston, WV, Elizabeth Foley (Owen) of Hull, MA, and Elizabeth Toney (Billy) of Hurricane, WV; 6 grandchildren; brothers: John Harris (Marcia) and Kenneth Harris, both of Scott Depot, WV; and special nephews: Larry, Tim and Dusty Harris.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be 5:00 pm Sunday August 24, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, WV with Pastor Joshua Sowards officiating.
Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Bob's name to HospiceCare 1606 Kanawha Blvd W Charleston, WV 25387.
