Dakota Chase Redman

Gone too soon, Dakota Chase Redman of Minden, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the age of 19. Dakota was born on March 31, 2006, in Beckley, West Virginia, to Audrea Schoolcraft and Jesse Redman. Dakota was an assistant manager at ACE, where he was extremely liked by all. Dakota was a great "people person" and knew how to have fun and work. Dakota also spent his childhood in church with his grandmother, Margaret, at Minden Baptist Church. Dakota Redman was a very special person. He had the most outgoing personality and could brighten anyone's day with his contagious laughter. Dakota was very adventurous, always ready to do anything from hunting, fishing, and gaming to everything in between. He was the most courageous kind soul, who always took up for the underdog and would make anyone's day better. He was very ambitious, could do anything he set his mind to, and had the biggest dreams. Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Larry Jarrell. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Audrea Schoolcraft; stepdad, Mikey Schoolcraft; father, Jesse Redman; brothers, Chris, Scott (Katlin), Matthew (Morgan), Kayden, and Hunter; a sister, Lilly; nieces and nephews, Marcus, Keira, Jaxson, Maggie, Ellana, and Emelia, whom he loved with all his heart; uncle, Jimbo; cousins, Josh and Wesley; and also the uncountable amount of very close friends and people he has left a great impact on. Dakota will forever be loved and missed by so many. There will be a memorial service held for Dakota at the Minden Baptist Church on October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
