Danny Joseph Gilley

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Danny Joseph Gilley, 67, of Brushfork, WV, who left us on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Danny was born January 6, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, to the late John and Elizabeth "Dolly" Gilley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Alvin and Nancy Gilley and Gibert and Laura Bell Cox; and one brother, John Joseph Gilley. Danny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bobbie White Gilley; two sons, Marcus Nathaniel Gilley and husband Brooks Rollyson of Warren, MI, and Edward Lee "Eddie" Gilley of Brushfork; sister, Melissa Kade Sizemore of McDowell, Co; and extended family: nephew and niece, Gary and Jessica Whistler, of St. Petersburg, FL, great-niece Scarlett Whistler, and great-nephew, Liam Whistler. Danny was a sports enthusiast. His love for the Raiders and Yankees was like no other. His saying was "I bleed silver and black." Danny will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In honoring Danny's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Athens Cemetery in Athens, WV.
