Danny Ray Goad Sr.

Danny Ray Goad Sr., 66 of Princeton died Thursday June 19, 2025 at his residence. Born July 10, 1958 in Knoxville, KY he was the son of the late Daniel Lewis Goad and Sadie Mullins Goad. Danny was retired from Statesville Brick Company in Statesville, NC. Danny loved the outdoors hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Ray Goad; and one brother-in-law, Shawn Poore. Survivors include his wife of forty eight years, Wanda Jackson Goad of Princeton; three sons, James Edward Goad, Danny Ray Goad, Jr., and David Ray Goad and wife Summer all of Princeton; one daughter, Sherry Clemons and husband Kenny Nelson of Princeton; six grandchildren, Autum Clemons and fiancé Tyler Mills, Faith Clemons and fiancé Austin Ellison, William C. Clemons, Lyndsey Goad, Evelyn Goad, and Lucas Goad; four great grandchildren, Dean Clemons, Paysleigh Mills, Hayes Ellison, and soon to be born, Oliver Ellison; three sisters, Angel Poore of Princeton, Ruby Ann Tiller and husband Gerald of Ballard, WV, and Susan O'Donnell and husband Stacy of Nemours, WV; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor N.R. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Bluewell, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, June 22, 2025.
