Freddy Glen Howell Jr.

Freddy Glen Howell, Jr., 59, of Kegley, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his residence. Born June 24, 1966, in Princeton, he was the son of Nancy Elaine Shrader Howell and the late Freddy Glen Howell, Sr.

Junior was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime employee with Allen's IGA where he served many years as a produce manager. He was also previously employed with Industrial Fasteners. He was most recently employed through the Commission on Aging (Lighthouse Program) in his most fulfilling role as caregiver to his father. Junior loved music, movies, and entertainment. He was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan since childhood and also the Washington Redskins/Commanders.

In addition to his father, Freddy was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Hamm. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Howell of Kegley; his sister and best friend, Kimberly Howell Hamm of Princeton; his niece that he loved as his daughter, Dulcie Hamm; and his loyal canine companion, Opie.

In honoring Freddy's wishes he will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor C.T. Lilly officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour Thursday.
